Detect player respawns
Discord question:
is it possible to detect when a player respawns (not retire)? specifically the point you're in control again, so when you pass the cp in case of flying respawn, and when you can drive in case of secondary respawn
`dPlayerInfo.LatestCPTime` only exists for one frame
LatestCPTime
contains the time data for one frame, then reverts to zero.
PlayerState info when testing or validating map in editor
Currently, when in any editor, Update
exits early. I would request the ability to collect vehicle, checkpoint, time, etc. data while testing or validating a map.
LinkedCheckpoint is counted double or more
Maps with LinkedCheckpoint is counted even if it's the same group

For example the map Summer 2022 - 04 has basically 3 checkpoints, but on the map has 5 checkpoints because 4 checkpoints are considered as "linked"
Null pointer access in AR_Data.as
I am fairly frequently getting the following error:

I've had it happen on some TotDs such as Diversion (7/22/2020), FS1 (7/29/2020), AnGeL lol#12 (7/28/2023), and others. It usually happens on load of the map. It's so random as to when it happens that I haven't been able to pinpoint what exactly causes it.
Gamemode script changing on a server results in Game Crash
Steps to replicate game crash:
- Play on a dedicated server.
- Change the gamemode script to a different script than the current one. e.g. TrackMania/TimeAttack.Script.txt -> TrackMania/Rounds.Script.txt
- When the next map loads with the different script, the game will crash.
Improve playerstate detection on server join
When joining a server from the menus the state isn't updated to Driving until the player restarts their run
Finished state is not triggered sometimes
Checkpoint changes not triggered after restarting the map
After restating a map with Delete, when crossing a checkpoint, the event CheckpointChange
is not triggered.
It sometimes trigger on some CPs but not all on the map
Manialink includes all players on server
Edit the manialink to ensure it only collects relevant data to reduce performance impact in long races/many player situations.
Add debug window
Show information from the different classes for debugging purposes
Gamecrash on first CP in custom COTD
I got a gamecrash on the first CP in the first knockout round in a custom COTD. Also a few months ago same issue on the official nadeo COTD.
Someone also mentioned that having skindownloads activated or having too many plugins might cause an issue.
