R Package for Fitting Functional Models to 2-Dimensional Data

Introduction

This package provides methods for fitting a functional model to two-dimensional data. It therefore uses several other packages, both such implementing nonlinear least squares approaches as well as numerical optimization methods. These packages are encapsulated into general interfaces for regression.

Installation

You can install the package directl from GitHub by using the package devtools as follows:

library(devtools)
install_github("thomasWeise/regressoR.functional")

If devtools is not yet installed on your machine, you need to FIRST do

install.packages("devtools")
