The next version of Kino (v0.13) will allow both for tracking the current editor source and programmatically setting it. It's not released yet, but I'm just dropping the issue for future reference :)

I used this to generate docs across some pretty involved Elixir code blocks. The returned code included the documentation as requested, however likely due to the response size some of the function bodies were truncated. Resulting in the following:

  defp extract_and_build_edges(contents, _nodes) do
    ...
  end

The fix for me was to write the prompt to explicitly not truncate code responses.

Original prompt:
Please add documentation to this module, include iex examples

Updated prompt:
Please add documentation to this module, include iex examples. Please output the full code, and do not truncate function bodies.

Side note: the fact this worked at all is amazing! Thank you for putting creating this go-to module for Livebook development ❤️
