Notes

This project lets one find a VIN number in their Ford Mach-E Reservation data. It's basic and subject to change as the Ford website changes, but it will get the job done.

You can report issues if things aren't working, and pull requests will be entertained.

Project setup

If you wish to run the project on your own computer, it's a basic Node with Vue setup.

npm install

Compiles and hot-reloads for development

npm run serve

Compiles and minifies for production

npm run build

getDaysToDelivery Function Returns Positive When Should Be Negative

getDaysToDelivery function in /src/components/05_VinDetailsView.vue always returns a positive number, even when the delivery date has passed. At line 262 there shouldn't be a Math.abs call. Negative numbers are already being caught in checkDaysToDelivery and should be returned as "N/A".

Reporting because my Mach E is over a week late at this point and I got false hope from incorrect days to delivery 😢.

Ford API for trackers no longer working

Reporting because I've been an avid user of your Mach-E tracker and I don't know anywhere else to issue a bug report.

Not sure if it can even be called a bug anymore actually, but Ford reactivated their "official" tracker a few days ago and took all the user-created trackers with it, including yours. The direct API query link no longer works either and returns with:

Error page not configured for your application
Note: If you've configured error page and still seeing this error, it means you are either accessing Origin (A/B side) or dispatcher URL directly.
