Therefore, adding permissions for the DB user to have access to %tmpdb% would be helpful.

GRANT CREATE, DROP ON `%tmpdb%`.* TO 'user'@'%';

Edit: And DROP permission, of course, to clean up after itself.

Currently the debconf-set-selections ignores our settings and asks for user interaction, breaking everything.

It would be a nice feature implement the functionality of uncompress sql dumps in the MySQL script.

In that way we could save around 80% of space in our CVS.
