dwarf's Issues

Any method to toggle/minimise left sidebar or option to force top layout

Hi,
I think your theme is great. I like the colors and split issue card layout.

Issue list view:
My problem is that even with wide monitors, "subject" becomes multi-lined because I have several custom fields displayed.

I was hoping if

  1. there was a way to hide the left sidebar with a button OR
  2. a way to force the left sidebar to permanently show on top.

Sorry I am not familiar with writing themes/css/js.

Top Menu bug

I think there is something wrong with the padding settings at the bottom of this;

#top-menu {
  background-color: #000;
  font-size: 10px;
  position: relative;
  padding: 0;
  height: 32px;
  padding-top: 0 ul;
    padding-top-padding: 0 21px; }

Thanks.

CSS .wiki word-break makes a mess in project overview

The .wiki CSS Class word-break is breaking words in a very comprehensive manner. In other words, when you have project descriptions that are more that just a few words, it becomes hard to read, if the word-break kicks in.

It would be really nice if that class didn't mess around with word-breaking at all.

Hard to see if a project has a parent project (is a child), in the project overview page

At the moment, it is a bit hard to see that if a project is a "child project", in the project overview. This is mainly due to the "similar" font-size between the nested elements. Perhaps you could either increase the font-size on root-level projects, or maybe use some other means of visualizing child projects, depending upon their nested levels.

E.g. The #projects-index ul.projects div.root a.project CSS class contains a a font-size of 16px. However, if it is disabled, you are able to distinguish it as being a root level project.

Nevertheless, I have only tested this with 2 levels of nested, which might not be sufficient.

I hope that you mates can come with a nice solution to this problem.

font size

First of all, what a nice and smooth theme. Redmine really needed that!

Though, in my personal opinion the font size in the tables is a bit too small.

I tried some changes in the browser and ended up with:

Deleted L65-66 in _tables.scss:

font-size: 11px;
padding: 6px;

This actually makes it alot more pleasing too look at.

Custom Fields width to small, when history or Associated revisions are displayed

Having added several custom fields to my trackers, I noticed that their overall width is about 50% of whatever parent their are a child of. This is normally not an issue, yet as soon as you start working on a given issue, update its state, attach a revision to it, then those custom fields become very small and difficult to read (especially in case of text-areas).

It would be really nice, if the width could be expanded to 100% of the parent container, whenever a tracker has history and or associated revisions.

first letter in search bar

The first letter isn't visible in the search bar.

screen resolution : 2560x1440

Footer padding

Hi, thanks for the great theme. I like it very much.

The footer has no padding, thus it stays behind the left menu (header).

modifying #footer padding value to 0 0 0 18% solved it for me.

incorrect vertical alignment in tables

When using this theme, in conjunction with our agile chart, groups of cells are all center aligned relative to the entire column, instead of aligned by the top.

This results in a funny orientation that looks like this;

ColA ColB ColC
A
B F
C G I
D H
E

Where we would otherwise desire this:

ColA ColB ColC
A F I
B G
C H
D
E

Fixing this issue also means that within a table row, all cells are top aligned; I know this is undesirable, but it's the only way I have been able to resolve the issue; potential fix is submitted.

Word wrap

The description and comments of an issue doesn't seems to word wrap properly. Several words got divided between 2 lines for my setup.

Other than that, the theme looks great!

issue details fall underneath sidebar on large displays

The issue only shows up when using a large browser window (HD displays). Both sequence of actions reproduce the unwanted results:

Action 1

Select a project, then go to issue list and select one.
The issue details (description, history and some other fields) fall underneath the sidebar. It is not possible to read them.

Action 2:

Then hit edit.
The submit, preview and cancel buttons are hidden underneath the sidebar. This happens when the browser is wide enough (HD displays). When making the browser window smaller the issue does not happen.

Expected:

The expected behaviour is for all issue details and issue edit screen to be displayed next to the sidebar like with the "issue new" screen.
