Quick start

  1. Download from Themesberg
  2. Download the project's zip
  3. Make sure you have Node locally installed.
  4. Download Gulp Command Line Interface to be able to use gulp in your Terminal.
npm install gulp-cli -g
  1. After installing Gulp, run npm install in the main neumorphism/ folder to download all the project dependencies. You'll find them in the node_modules/ folder.
npm install
  1. Run gulp in the neumorphism/ folder to serve the project files using BrowserSync. Running gulp will compile the theme and open /index.html in your main browser.
gulp

While the gulp command is running, files in the assets/scss/, assets/js/ and components/ folders will be monitored for changes. Files from the assets/scss/ folder will generate injected CSS.

Hit CTRL+C to terminate the gulp command. This will stop the local server from running.

Theme without Sass, Gulp or Npm

If you'd like to get a version of our theme without Sass, Gulp or Npm, we've got you covered. Run the following command:

gulp build:dev

This will generate a folder html&css which will have unminified CSS, Html and Javascript.

Minified version

If you'd like to compile the code and get a minified version of the HTML and CSS just run the following Gulp command:

gulp build:dist

This will generate a folder dist which will have minified CSS, Html and Javascript.

neumorphism-ui-bootstrap's Issues

Responsive Image of "organic-radius img-fluid" scaled Too Big On Mobile but hard to fix

I set the responsive image on the left hand side of a section:

<section class="section section-lg pt-7">
            <div class="container">
                <div class="row align-items-center justify-content-around">
                    <div class="col-md-3 col-xl-3 mb-4">
                        <div class="card bg-primary shadow-soft border-light organic-radius p-3">
                            <img class="organic-radius img-fluid" src="../../assets/img/xxx.jpeg" alt="younger me">
                        </div>
                    </div>
                    <div class="col-md-5 col-xl-5 text-center”>
					  ...
					</div>
				</div>
            </div>
        </section>

and when it is scaled as small as on the mobile screen, the image would become very huge.

I tried to used some general html methods to fix it, such as set max length in style and image but then the display will get very weird, since the image frame and the image will be in a different shape. I tried to adjust the number after "col-sm, col-md, col-lg, col-xl” but also failed.

What is the best way to fix this issue?

SCSS Compile failure

With the latest version of neumorphism-ui and Ruby Sass 3.7.4 compiler, I get the following error:

error: Base-level rules cannot contain the parent-selector-referencing character '&'.
on line 155 of neumorphism/layout/_navbar.scss
from line 1 of neumorphism/_layout.scss
from line 42 of neumorphism.scss

Not sure how to proceed...

Accordians not working

when i run it locally the accordians don't work when you click them, on the actual site they open when you click them but not on my locally run version am i doing something wrong?

Undefined font-size variable declared in _buttons.scss

Thank you for this wonderful framework. I have been attempting to compile using my own gulp setup and bringing in the neumorphism scss via my main scss root file. Getting an error in my gulp:

Error: Undefined variable: "$font-size-md"

My guess is that the following rule:

.btn-md {
    &, i {
        font-size: $font-size-md !important;
    }
}

in _buttons.scss, should either refer to $font-size-base, or that an equivalent variable should be set up in the variables file.

navbar dropdown menu issue

image
hello, as seen in the picture above, when we click on one of the dropdown menus in the navbar, the dropdown menu remains open. then when we hover over another dropdown menu, it also opens. so both are overlapping how can i solve this problem. thank you.

Correct way to integrate Babel into Gulp script

I'm trying to integrate Babel into my Gulp Script and can't quite seem to get it figured out. Can someone please let me know the correct config for both development and build. This is what I have now 👍

gulp.task('scripts', function() {
    return gulp.src(
        [
            './node_modules/babel-polyfill/dist/polyfill.js',
            'js/*.js'
        ])
        .pipe(babel({
            presets: ['@babel/preset-env']
        }))
        .pipe(gulp.dest('compiled'))
});

Mobile Hamburger Menu Click Not Working

I encountered an issue running locally and can use some help. When running on localhost:3000 the mobile view on Chrome browser gives me an error when clicking the hamburger menu.

css usage

the ability to use on sites without node.js for example via cdn ?

Pricing page accordion id's mixup

When you go to the live demo under the ‘pricing’ page, the FAQ ‘default accordion’ component doesn’t show the box I clicked on. When I click on ‘licenses’ it shows me ‘What is Neumorph UI kit’.
