URL Eines nicht existierenden Bildes z.B. /wp-content/uploads/2012/08/foo-bar.jpg führt im Firefox 14 zu der Meldung:
»Die Grafik http://domain.tld/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/foo-bar.jpg kann nicht angezeigt werden, weil sie Fehler enthält«. Ist das Plugin deaktiviert, erscheint die 404-Seite des Themes. (WP 3.4.1) Das ganze passiert auf einem AllInkl-Host. (Auf dem localhost nicht!)

When a post (post, page, public custom post type, attachment) is moved from published to trash grab the permalink and the post id.
Add both to a custom option and check this option on 404.
Search for a 410.php in the theme and load it instead of the 404.php. If there is no 410.php use a default page from the plugin directory.

Handle undelete and slug reuse.
