No longer being maintained

We are no longer maintaining this project. All updates have now become private, and to only be used for our network ZectorPE. This plugin was supposed to be used for our new network ZectorPE. After thinking after time, we decided to put this project on hold until further notice. If you'd like to however take over the project, or you're a developer yourself, and would like to continue maintaining it, then please fork this repo. This will allow you to continue maintaining the project. This project will be continued to display for everyone to download. There will just be no more updates from us with this repo.

FactionsPro

A modified plugin, better than ever. Being updated frequently. Edited by the VMPE development team. We update this plugin most of the time, features, bug fixes, and more. If you have any issues, or suggestions on what we should fix / add to this plugin, please open a new issue. We will make sure to read them. Thank you.

What is this branch?

This branch is called the "beta" branch. It's nothing special, and the fact is; This branch is mostly stabled. It's called the beta branch because this branch can sometimes have some bugs. We plan on fixing some issues that could be there from a while ago, and some bugs, which have just been implemented into this branch. We do plan on fixing almost ALL BUGS. At this stage, this branch is bug free, but when we add stuff, or fix stuff, bugs may rise. This doesn't happen often though. But just a heads up anyways.

Features

  • All the features from the good 'ol' days are now back, and working with PMMP's Latest API's.

  • Prefixes - You can configure the command prefixes in which you can use on every single command.

  • F Values - You can use Faction money, balance, withdraw, donate, and more.

  • /f say now works - It's better than ever, and /f say is finally working!

  • Better Factions help page! Use /f help for a list of all commands (from p1-7)

  • /f claim now works as it should - We've fixed /f claim, and it's better than ever!

  • /f overclaim now works as it should - In this version of FactionsPro, we've made it so you can Overclaim! This was also introduced in the Old Modded version of this plugin.

  • Made configurations so much easier!

  • You can now: Forcefully remove someone's power, and balance with a simple command.

  • /f war is now fully working!

  • You can now un enemy a faction by using /f notenemy

  • You can no longer kick yourself from your own faction! Fixed in v2.1.5 Update

  • You can no longer promote yourself from your own faction! Fixed in v2.1.5 Update

  • You can no longer demote yourself from your own faction! Fixed in v2.1.5 Update

  • You can no longer make yourself leader even though you own the faction! Fixed in v2.1.5

Faction Commands

/f create - Create a faction.

/f delete - Delete a faction.

/f invite - Invite a player to your faction.

/f accept - Accepts a leader's invitation to join your faction.

/f deny - Denies a leader's invitation to join your faction.

/f who - Shows info about your faction.

/f who - Shows other faction information.

/f leave - Quit's a faction.

/f kick - Kicks a player from your faction.

/f balance - Shows your faction money.

/f top money - Shows the top 10 Richest factions.

/f top str - Shows the top 10 Best Factions.

/f top - Shows the /f top usage.

/f power - Checks how much faction power you have.

/f seepower - Check other player's faction power.

/f allies - Checks a list of allies a faction has.

essentialsTP vs EssentialsPE

"EssentialsPE is not installed. If you want to use the new Faction Raiding system, then EssentialsPE needs to be installed. Disabling Raiding system."

What is the "Faction Raiding system" about? I was only able to find essentialsTP... The EssentialsPE I found was old is there a EssentialsPE that is being maintained?

Claiming

you can only claim once, please add unlimited but make it take away str when u claim

To-Do List v2.1.0

Here is our To-Do list for v2.1.0

  • Fix ALL console errors which are very annoying to others.

  • Make Title claims work properly.

  • Make the Raiding system work properly.

  • Add SafeZone / WarZone claiming - Not a confirmed feature, but we can see what we can do.

  • Fix some commands which are somewhat causing errors in console.

  • Add ConfigManager file to handle Configurations file

  • Mesages file - Change the messages of each faction errors, success messages, and more, right onto the Messages.yml file! More easier and better to use.

  • Implement messages configurations to make them work.

  • Customise your OWN commands, and main command, so instead of /f as the main command, you could name it to /clans or something else. Along with other commands, like you can change /f kick to /f ban.

  • Move the faction messages from prefs.yml to messages.yml.

  • Fix Faction Chat & Ally Chat Issue.

Factions pro v2.2.0 - Commands update

A new update - Commands may be coming soon. Here’s what you may expect in FactionsPro v2.2.0 update

  • Seperate each command into different commands file with a new folder called “commands”.
  • Customise your own command messages! (Not confirmed)

Feature Request

Can you add warzone and safezone claiming? with /f claim warzone/safezone, for OPs only, like on massivefactions

PureChat Issue

Ok, I've just replaced the ~ with FactionsPro in the purchat config and when I went in game and attempted to chat my chat had no formatting. All the formats were gone.

Can You Change /f info to a better looking and add balance to it when we do /f info <faction ?

Suggestion(s)

Would it be possible to give nicknames/titles to players in that faction?
Such as;
the leader of the faction changed someone's title, like Proxy .

and so on.

Also, players could give themselves titles depending on whether or not they're officers or not.

Just an idea.

Leader issues

So this issue contains some issues with promoting yourself even if you're leader. I haven't tested this myself, but it has been reported by some other people. When you do /f promote ZeaoPlayzMC (ZeaoPlayzMC is the leader), it will somehow bypass the old check, and will not work as it should.
You need the isLeader check, which could be the new fix of this all. Along with demoting yourself as well, which will need a new check as well.

Need to ask something

I need a plugin where, a player types command and, op players or permission players can see the commands running by other players

Unknown command issue

Okay, so when you type any incorrect command (Ex: /f test), it wouldn’t say anything, no unknown command or anything. What this issue does, is allows us to implement the Unknown command feature, which is from beta-testing branch. Along with that, we may revamp the commands methods to case “help” instead of the old command method. It’s so much easier as well as it doesn’t take a whole of the code implemented. This will make life 10x easier along with the default:, which should be when someone enters the command incorrectly. I have submitted the commit, just waiting to be tested. Once it’s tested, I’ll close the issue. (I may Pull Request it if everything goes as planned.)

This may not be an issue... /f help doesn't display any thing but if I do /f help 1 or 2 or 3 Etc... Then it does work... Not really an issue but may be instead of saying "/f help" inform them they have to add the page Number after help....

Messages

When I type any command except /f help, like I type "/f create dnsjs" no message appears but when I check my faction it's created but no message appears

F Focus & f unfocus

I have an idea, ad F focus. Basically when some1 executes the command f focus it will make there nametag light purple . It will help the faction by giving her/he a purple nametag.
F unfocus is basically when you execute the command. Player's IGN will return normal.

About claiming

Hello, is possible to change the claim system? Remove the snow and claim a chunk (16x16) and all the height. Thanks for you amazing work

hello there is a small problem when we have a faction on the server tells us that we have no faction

Balance

There was an exploit in other versions of Factions that have the Factions Balance feature, where you could create a faction with the same name for example "Extreme" and "eXtreme" and the second faction could withdraw all the money from the first one because the name is the same, I'm not sure if it happens here, most likely it does, giving a heads up.
