incredible Nobody has done / ported a game that good.

Trying to run lirix and I cannot make it any further than the log in. I’m repeatedly seeing “Your password is incorrect. Please try again.” This happens whether my password is a custom one or the default password. Every other part of the setup has gone smoothly, I just cannot seem to get past this specifically.

It would seem that the user creation and password creation tool during install is broken, tried to do a multitude of combinations while installing, all of them failed including the defaults. Whenever you go to login after installation, it claims the password is incorrect.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have figured out a work around by following the tutorial in this video
for the root account only, the user is still very broken, will be attempting a work around by creating a new user with the root account.

After trying to create new users, all of them are broken, even using single letter passwords, will continue to see if I can get around it.

I saw a video on lirix and wanted to try it, very cool! Install went well overall on virtual box until time login.It didn't approve my password.So i reinstalled careful to double check my typing when setting user name and password.After install complete,time to log in...username is correct just as i type it during install,carefully watching my typing for password,it rejects it.So I reinstalled several times even tried the default machine,default user name,and default password same results.I tried typing nothing at all for username and password hoping it go to the defaults,then i tried root as username and password.I appreciate any help! thanks!

Testing on VirtualBox currently, after an EZInstall, I cannot log into either the default main user aamoo with the default password, nor can I log into a created account. The log in manager just says "Your password is incorrect. Please try again."

I am sure I am typing the passwords correct. I used almost all default options during the EZInstall. Using the US keyboard layout and tried with simple QWERTY safe passwords. No luck.

I booted into root and verified that both users are in /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow.

From root, I switched to the user account and changed the password via passwd. Rebooting and attempting to log in results in the same error.
