lazy-connect's Issues

Sometimes script throws error on lazyconnect

the following error is been thrown

600:666: execution error: System Events got an error: Can’t get button "Authentication Settings…" of group 1 of window 1 of process "System Preferences". (-1728)

May be should add a delay?

Catalina Support.

Current version is not working with Catalina.

Catalina is working with the earlier 1.5 version.
Perhaps this can be detected and that flow invoked.
i installed older version. and run with lazy-connect -n then wait for prompt and paste and enter.

Support for Apple BigSur

Hello team - I have been using lazy-connect on Mojave. After upgrading to Big Sur it stopped working. Now it throws the following error -

Storing secret in keychain... 97:153: execution error: System Events got an error: Can’t get menu bar 1 of process “SystemUIServer”. Invalid index. (-1719) Storing the VPN list...

It would be great if the team could add support for Big Sur

These resources might help

Tab completion for VPN names

It would be a great feature to show suggestions and do auto completion for tab space

Example: For my-vpn VPN name

$ lazy-connect my-

after tab space

$ lazy-connect my-vpn

All the features of tab completion applies, like ambiguous matches should show up instead of completing etc

[MacOS BigSur] oathtool: base32 decoding failed: Base32 string is invalid

Hello team - I have set up lazy-connect on my system. I copy the TOTP/key from Google Auth Chrome Extension and the VPN list is imported successfully. However, when I try to connect to a VPN from the list it throws error -

oathtool: base32 decoding failed: Base32 string is invalid
Error: Unable to generate otp using oathtool.

What can I do here?

P.S- This used to work on MacOS Catalina. But once updated to BigSur this is not working.

Error occurs when trying to connect already connected VPN

Another error occurs when trying to connect already connected VPN because the connect button changed into disconnect

1016:1065: execution error: System Events got an error: Can’t get button "Connect" of group 1 of window 1 of process "System Preferences". (-1728)

Latest commits breaks lazy-connect

Issue:

After modifying lazy-connect.sh to lazy-connect in .bashrc to accommodate the latest changes, lazy-connect always opens by default.
