This Browser Extension simply auto-bumps your Discord server on Disboard. Useful for easily gaining more members in your server!

Install Instructions (Chrome)

Until I decide to pay the dev licence fee, this will be the way to install the extension.

1. Download (or clone) the repository and (if you downloaded) extract the folder into a directory.

2. Visit chrome://extensions/ (copy this into the search bar) and enable Developer mode.

3. Drag and drop the folder into chrome://extensions/.

That's it!

1. Download (or clone) the repository and (if you downloaded) extract the folder into a directory.

2. Visit about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox (copy this into the search bar).

3. Click on 'Load Temporary Add-on...' and locate the manifest.json file in the folder you extracted.

That's it! (You may have to reinstall the add-on on restarts)

How to use

1. Go onto https://disboard.org/dashboard/servers.

2. Click on the 🅱️ icon to pick which server to bump in that tab.

3. Keep it open or it will not work. TIP: Pin the tab! (Right Click > "Pin Tab")

4. [Multibumping!] Optionally have multiple tabs opened for different servers!

FAQ

Q: Why does the extension randomly freeze or not bump?

A: A work around to this issue (mentioned in #4) is to install this auto refreshing extension and run it along side.

Q: Why doesn't the timer correspond with the time left to bump?

A: This is to avoid being de-listed of Disboard and is normal. It can be disabled by switching off Safety Mode in the extension popup.

Q: Why do I get a message telling me that this is unsafe?

A: The warning "Disable developer mode extensions" is displayed in Chrome when you install non Chrome Web Store extensions in the browser. Read more and learn how to disable it here. If you would like to continue using the extension then simply press 'X' when you see this message.

Q: Why do I get an error saying "Unrecognized manifest key 'browser_specific_settings'."

A: In Chrome, if you look into the errors of the extension, you may find this error. It is completely normal and the extension will still continue to function properly. The reason for this error is that browser_specific_settings is used for Firefox add-on support but Chrome doesn't recognize this.

Bumps once then stops

Hi, the autobumper was working great until it stopped for some reason. When I start the autobump it bumps once then opens a new tab to https://disboard.org/dashboard/servers and then the timer goes blank --:--:-- and doesn't autobump anymore. I tried reinstalling the plugin but it doesn't change anything.

Raspberry Pi support?

I installed Firefox on the single board computer called Raspberry Pi. I put the extension in Firefox and Firefox recognizes it and it's permissions.

The problem is the extension doesn't affect the page in anyway, I do not see the B or the timer for the next bump.

Bumping issue

This is a great bot but sometimes it doesn't work. If i do !d bump in my server it will say server bumped even though the bot "bumped" it. then i have to refresh the page. Does this require me to have the window completely open or can i minimize it?

Error Code 520

After using the Addon a while it will break the Website, i have to clear my cache/cookies each day or the Website wont load anymore. If i open a different Browser or Incognito Tab it works.

Error unpacking

This is on the latest google chrome stable build.

Disboard now has a rule against automating bumps with bots or scripts.

just as title says. It's unfortunate and it was good while it lasted.

Bumping bug

I have safe bumping enabled, but it still bumps automatically every 2 hours the time could still have 30 minutes and it just bumps #

Cloudflare

I'm unsure if you're still working on this; but I'll put this here.

Ever since Cloudflare's security has gone on crack, this barely works. Every-time it refreshes, and I mean EVERY TIME, Cloudflare asks to verify you.

This is virtually unusable due to this. I'm unsure if a fix can even happen. I just wanted to make you aware.

Sometimes the auto bumper gets stuck on Authorize screen

So I am using this extension(in conjunction with the recommended plugin to auto-refresh the page) on a machine that stays on 24/7 and this issue will be almost impossible to reproduce for majority of the people here

The problem occurs once every 3-4 days of continuous use, when a bump/reload is triggered rather than the page what is supposed to happen the screen pops up where one is asked to re-authorize the disboard app with your discord account, this screen totally halts the bot till one manually clicks on the authorize button sometimes wasting 8 hours worth of pings.

Possible workaround I assume will be to add a condition that automatically clicks on the authorize button whenever the authorization page appears

Disboard ads

The disboard shows ads after the bump, which kinda fucks it up

Update notification when no update

Sometimes the extension sends an "Update available!" notification when there's no update.

Possibly this happens because of some fetching error and bad error handling.

Bump to new tab

Disboard auto bumper currently does not work on Chrome. On bump, it opens a new tab which requires you to select the server to be bumped.

Using with auto page reload & tried plugin to open links in same tab to no avail. A workaround is needed.

Request for more platform integration in autobump

I was wondering if there would be similar features available for other platforms such as top.gg and Disforge. I’ve been using this autobump for days now and have had a great experience with it. However, it would be even more beneficial if it included tools for other advertising websites, as this could significantly help my server on different platforms

The "B" to autobump doesnt pop up when the extension is installed

When i install the extension it the disboard page stays like normal with no changes

autobumper is being caught by disboard.

this script is being caught by disboard. there needs to be bigger more random gaps in the bump cycle to avoid detection. maybe add a regular 8-10 hour interval to simulate a sleep cycle.

Wouldn't it be better to make this a tampermonkey script?

Firefox user here! Doing temporary extensions makes them deactivate on the browser's reopen, So i just have to put out that a tamper-monkey script fixes it.

Won't upload the extenstion

Can't Find 🅱 button to pick the server to be auto bumped.

I followed the steps and installed the extension on firefox. But it keeps saying pick a server t be auto bumped and i can't find the 🅱 button. Can someone help me to locate it.

file deleted,edited,or moved when i drag the file to extensions

i tried drag and drop the extracted file when i do, a new tab opens and say FILE_ERR the file has been moved, deleted, or edited. how do i fix this?

Can't bump server when extension is added to chrome

Server wouldn't bump, not until I completely removed the extension from chrome, then it worked like normal.

note: when i did have the extention added I could still bump manually using middle mouse click on the normal bump button.

make as discord bot

I read a bit of the README and if I read correctly, it states that the user has to keep the tab open all the time. Wouldn't this get annoying?
So I'm suggesting to either make this repository (or fork it) into a discord bot where the owners of the bot can simply enter in their discord server invite (or something along those lines, maybe this isn't possible at all) and the bot continuously bumps the server.
Do you think this could be done?

Autobump completely stopped working

It refuses to autobump after the timer has expired and will only bump the first time you hit autobump.

It doesn't let me bump
