The boiler-plate code for running your node server and styling the page is provided-- your job is to create the appropriate React components and component methods so the game works.
First, run npm install
to get all of the dependancies you'll need. I wrote a build script to compile the jsx in the /client/src folder for you-- it runs automatically when you call npm start
.
If you want to practice setting up a React/JSX build system, just delete the "build" script and set your own stuff up. (Browserify and Babelify are already included as dependancies.) Eslint is included, too-- just type npm run lint
to see the lints it returns. If you're not familiar with using eslint, talk to me. It's super helpful.
All of your components should go in the /client/src/components folder. You might also want to mess with the styles/css to make your app pretty. Everything else is good to go.
