TV Series

Currently Fakeflix only supports Movies with one video, even if the item is a series of videos like Stranger Things.

It would nice to support them too. At best with the solution Netflix did.

CONFIGURATION_NOT_FOUND

I have followed instructions to set up .env file. However, I get CONFIGURATION_NOT_FOUND. Any idea how to resolve this?

seems like it doesn't like my REACT_APP_FIREBASE_API_KEY

Cool project btw. I'm really looking forward to exploring it more 😃

No issue

Really nice work! The best Netflix clone I have seen.

Why is the app slow?

I've been looking at this clone and I think it's very good but I don't know why it's slow, I don't know if it's the transitions or the compression of the images that are very large, could you help me improve the response of the UI

Suggestion: Use Backblaze

Use backblaze B2 for video downloading. I used it on a social media website and the photo and videos appear instantly. It beat out Amazon S3 by 95ms. In terms of response, Backblaze was at about 5ms.

$0.005 Storage

Service AWS S3 Backblaze B2 AWS Markup
Storage (GB) $0.023 $0.005 360%
Download (GB) $0.09 $0.01 800%
Redundancy (GB) $0.023 per location FREE across 9-14 locations N/A
Requests $0.0004 / 1000 $0.004 / 10000 0%

Of course if this uses S3, it has compatible APIs so it's very easy for anyone to switch out.
