Steam Degrees of Separation

This project is inspired by Harvard's CS50's Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with Python course and "How Many Steam Friends Separate You From Gabe Newell?" youtube video by Coeus.

Intended usage

Find how many degrees of separation there are between two steam profiles.

How to use

  1. Clone this repository
git clone https://github.com/TestkaJakub/Steam-Degrees-of-Separation.git
  1. Change .env API_KEY variable to match yours Steam Web API Key
  2. Run main.py
  3. Enter the 64-bit steam profile ID of the first steam profile
  4. Enter the 64-bit steam profile ID of the second steam profile
  5. Wait (it may take a long time before the result is returned)
