Removing the patch limit size

Hey guys does anybody know how to remove the patch fixed size and where to look for that.. I want to launch d2gs with modified patch (new items runewords etc.)

Build instruction

The D2GS project needs a step-by-step tutorial how to build it from the sources.

Build instructions and requirements needed?

I've wanted to test that version of d2gs and I've used MSVS 2008 Express but build fails with
1>fatal error RC1110: could not open .\res\d2server.rc
1>Project : error PRJ0002 : Error result 1 returned from 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\bin\rc.exe'.

And maybe I'm doing something wrong. Not sure now.

Warden

Hello, could you explain details about how Warden works, how can it be extended with new cheats, and does it work properly in your version?
There are a lot of false positives in original 1.13c and it can't be used for play.

Redvex overhead crash.

Being impossible to compile this for windows and make it work, at least for now, does somebody know another solution to fix the Overhead crash exploit of the Redvex program? It makes d2gs crash and every game also.

D2GS crash

i have a lan server for median xl 2012 .005 using d2gs and pvpgn ODBC compiled through magic builder. It works fine no crashes for a year. my friends got tired of of that version and I decided to update to median ultimative XVc D2GS crashes or refuses to run

How about use d2gs ?

  1. i'm vs2010 compile complete
  2. pvpgn 91d2 version compile complete
    all server daemon start
    diablo login ok and char create ok but join game fail
    how about next plane ?

D2GS_Build_20150103 does not work

Hello tesseract2048, i've tried the compiled binary of https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tesseract2048/d2gs/master/Binaries/D2GS_Build_20150103.zip which you posted, still it does not work.
Normal D2GS from pvpgn.pl works, when i update it to Build_20150103 it stops.
And i've tried to do this, i started my working d2gs which is the old one from pvpgn.pl, then when i saw it working fine, i've turned it off and extracted any file from Build_20150103 into it, trying to start it again, D2GS.exe just closes without error or log shown.
I'm using windows 7 x64 sp2 as an os.
