About

This repository contains sample applications based on Telegram.Bot library:

• Simple console application. Demonstrates use of Telegram.Bot.Extensions.Polling.
• ASP.NET Core Web Hook application.

Comunity projects

• GreenCaptchaBot a spam-protection bot. This is a bot that will ask the users coming to a Telegram chat to press a random numbered button.
• vahter-bot the bot that bans.

Legacy projects

These projects represent older or deprecated technologies you might want to use, though we do not provide any support for those projects:

• Classic ASP.NET MVC 5 application.
• Simple console application. Based on build-in events system.

Requirements

Examples in this repository use .NET 6. You might need to install required version from here.

Groups

How can we use this in groups? How would I retreive the Chat ID?
I can talk with the bot in a normal chat but It doesn't reply in a group or a supergroup.

Sample for SendPhoto

Please provide a sample for SendPhoto. i store images in database and retrieve them and convert to stream. then pass the stream to the SendPhoto method but it doesn't work. also no error thrown.

AnswerCallbackQueryAsync does not accept url

Base on Bot Api documentation this method should accept a Url as well.
Is there any workaround to send the user to a url (a telegram channel or a website)?

Response status code does not indicate success: 429 (Too Many Requests)

How to send 30 in 1 second to different user?

I have one application in which i need to send approx. 30000 Msg/hr. [text + image]. How can i achieve this?

If you're sending bulk notifications to multiple users, the API will not allow more than 30 messages per second or so.

Currently I am sending message one by one. so it take 1 min to send 20 to 25 message [text+image]. As per telegram we can send 30 msg per second to different user. I want to achieve this limit without blocking bot.
