What 乜嚟

Tecky Open Source is a collection of open sourced projects created by our students during their studies in Tecky MicroMaster. These projects are all licensed under MIT License.

科啟開源計劃集合了由我們的微學位學生創作的作品，所有有關作品均以 MIT 授權發佈。

Why 何解

Project ideas are often asked by our students while project implementations are demanded by the community. That is a perfect match to gather ideas from the community and let our students work on those in return.

學生們有能力編寫，但往往缺乏意念；社群能夠提供意念，卻往往缺乏編寫的能力。故此這計劃剛好讓兩者結合：在這裡收集社群希望做到的項目，然後由學生編造，並以開源的方式回饋。

All project idea must fulfill the below criterias:

• Reasonably fit in the 3-week project time for 2-3 bootcamp students
• Agree and be able to license the idea and implementation in MIT License
• Do not require any non-disclosure agreements
• Do not violate any laws of Hong Kong

[IDEA] 類去中心化、加密式、微形資料傳輸網狀網絡 Mesh-network-based, encrypted, partial-decentralized network for lightweight data transfer

In recent technology trend, decentralized networks which have heavy emphasis on identity protection and anonymity are much welcomed. However, the majority of those networks focuses on cryptocurrency and have only a few, if not none, successful applications on our day-to-day work. Aside for cryptocurrency, data transfer network could gain additional security in applying decentralized network. There are several issues hindering these usage:

1. Entrance barrier is high for -
   a. - service users
   b. - service provider
2. Non-recovery -
   a. - of data
   b. - of network

If we can take the idea of decentralized network and compromise on few unnecessary security features, it could have gain larger practical usage. Solutions can be a semi-decentralized system utilizing mesh network structure, with the following features:

1. Recovery of data
2. Fast replication of network if exposed
3. Quick setup for system admins
4. Easy approach to both users and admins
5. Network verification only by consensus of admins (as compared to consensus of whole network in blockchain)

在現今科技潮流中，強調保障身份和匿名的去中心化系統，日益受重視私隱的用戶歡迎。然而，去中心化系統的實際應用仍然集中在加密貨幣，並未有太多在日常營運中的成功應用個案。當中有兩項比較突出的缺點，阻礙去中心化網絡的應用：

1. 對用家和服務提供者而言，去中心化的門檻技術門檻太高
2. 資料和網絡不能被復原

如果我們能以去中心化的理念，去除不必要的額外安全特性來架構網絡，我們將能推廣去中心化網絡的應用。

[IDEA] 凍肉貨比貨網站

近日因應疫情，突然出現了很多凍肉網站和店舖，但價格差異甚大，而且部份網站的運送速度、服務均不透明，能否有一個平台，不但可以比較凍肉價格，更可以一站式搜羅各大凍肉商店，以及比較不同商店的評價？

• 用戶可以有一定數量的凍肉分類 (如牛肉、羊肉)、產地分類 (如美國、巴西、中國)、牌子分類、重量（克/磅/安士）去以產品搜羅心水貨品與有售相關產品的商戶
• 用戶可以以地區或名稱搜尋凍肉店舖並可一覽眾商舖的產品種類、評價和排名
• 系統可生成產品專頁，顯示有售相關產品的商戶、評價及其價格作比較
• 系統可生成商戶專頁，顯示商戶資料（名稱、網址、門市地址）、運費、評價、及其貨品價格
• 能夠以 Web Scraping 自動收集某些著名網站價格，讓用戶快速比較價格
• 能夠提供後台予合作商店更新價格，讓商戶更新最新價格和存貨予用戶
• 能夠提供後台予管理員增減商店、產品及更新價格
• 能夠讓用戶評價商店的 物流、服務、相關產品質素，最好能夠有位置讓他們證明是顧客（例如上載收據），讓其他用戶可以了解商店服務品質

[IDEA] 自主的通訊及社交軟件

除着近來各界對**自由及資訊私隱的重視，我們需要一個自主的通訊及社交軟件。

以下提及的功能已由 Facebook, IG, Whatsapp 甚至 MeWe 等「主流現成」平台提供。但幾年後這些平台還能在香港使用嗎？沒有人能肯定。

而且，被 Facebook 屏蔽的內容不計其數。我們也不想好朋友之間的對話被第三者監聽。

因此提議一個自主 (self-hosted, self-moderated) 的軟件，供不同小組使用。
