The next set of meetings is on Tuesday, 9 July at 21:00 UTC and Wednesday, 10 July at 08:00 UTC.
At the last meeting, two months ago, we completed going through the properties on the TaxonomicConceptRelationship class, thereby completing our review of the core properties (just in terms of which ones we need and which ones we can do without). I think before we move on further discussing the relationship assertions – as in which relationship types we need – we should spend some time discussing the circumscription of a TaxonomicNameUsage, or which assertions are TNUs, which assertions are just assertions and which "assertions" are not even assertions (and therefore also not TNUs). I think we are not all on the same page about that and I think it is important that we are. So that is the subject of this meeting. If we have time we'll move on to relationship types, or perhaps the TCS NomenclaturalNote types (#23), but experience from the past meetings has been that my idea of what we can do in a meeting is mostly a bit too ambitious.
There is some discussion about what is a TNU and what is not in the examples in this repository: Homotypic and heterotypic synonyms and in @deepreef's Taxonomer paper (I will add the page once I've found it back).
