Description

TAKWatch is an ATAK plugin that communicates with Garmin devices running TAKWatch-IQ (https://github.com/TDF-PL/TAKWatch-IQ) application.

[Bug] Clock on the Data view runs slow

The clock on the data view appears to run slow in certain circumstances. I have not been able to isolate under which specific circumstances but an educated guess based on my observation is that it might be happening under one of the following circumstances:

• There is no connection to a phone
• ATAK isn't running on the phone
• ATAK isn't connected to a server

I'm not sure which of these it is because it's a bit difficult for me to reliably reproduce the bug.

My device is a Forerunner 955.

Cant connect to phone when using VPN.
TAKWatch-IQ app starts up in map screen. Menu is accessible by holding UP(MENU) key.
App freezes to IQ! screen when UP or DOWN key are used on map screen.
Can shut down app by using BACK key.

Feature proposal - Connect to TAK Server

In the case of an LTE Garmin watch, be able to connect to the TAK Server.
The behind idea is to be able to only have the watch on you instead of the phone + watch.

Instinct series is missing

james missing the instinct series as a possible watch. Cold you please add.

TACTIX 7 AMOLED

Is this application compatible with the TACTIX 7 AMOLED? If not, is it planned for the near future?

Compatibility problem with Garmin and Github list

All of the githubs supported devices are not on the Garming supported devices list

Epix Pro Gen 2 for example, is there a way to get it working on it somehow? Or is this problem with Garmin side?

Hello,

I keep having failed connection to ATAK

My phone is connected to the watch when I look at Garmin Connect. Tactix Seven. Last update with ATAK and TAKWatch.

What am I supposed to do to have a successful connection between the phone and watch through ATAK?
