Currently, any value can be entered in the BGA package width (A) and height (B) 
fields. This can clash with the minimum possible size of the BGA as dictated by 
the pitch, pin number and pad sizes.

* A sanity check must be implemented to make sure we cannot draw an outline 
smaller than the pad area.

* A sanity check must be implemented so that we do not try to indicate A1 
corner inside the silkscreen outline if that corner mark would overlap with 
pads.

The "pads detected" image should be doubled in size if the resolution in X or Y 
is less than 20 pixels per bin. This is needed to make it is easier to click in 
the cells to correct the map.

I'm trying (rather desperately) to automatically generate a BGA footprint from 
the Intel Quark X1000 mechanical drawing. It seems impossible, due to grid 
layout.

IPC7351 and IEC 61188-7 Level A component orientation must be respected. 

The user-provided orientation compatible with the datasheet is used to generate 
correct pad numbers from the orientation of the drawing. However, the final 
drawn footprint must always have pin A1 in the upper left (North West).

The BGA grid generator should be modified to insure this is true by rotating 
the generated grid appropriately.
