Strategies and Insights for Teaching L2 Writing Students
- Every student and every case is different.
- Proficiency in writing does not equal proficiency in speech (and vice versa).
- Encourage students to use their cultural knowledge and existing language skills to inform their classroom participation and to broaden resident students' global competency.
- Do not rely on US specific popular culture for course content and discussion points.
