Combined Tab and Urlbar

Greatly enhances usability and provides a more intuitive browsing experience, eliminating the need for constant switching between UI sections:

LMB to select URL on Active Tab;

MMB to Close Inactive Tab;

MMB to open New Tab on empty space;

Rare glitches may occur due to CSS limits.

 

Multi-row Tabs

Stacking tabs into multiple rows enhances tabs access, simplifies navigation, and optimizes screen space for efficient multitasking and improved user experience:

Clear and easily accessible layout;

RMB on Tab for Tab controls;

The Audio Tab is nicely highlighted and looks good without any extra [Playing] indications;

Multi-row Bookmarks

Bookmarks are now organized in multiple rows below the Tabs, improving accessibility and resource management, especially for users with a large number of bookmarks:

Set Bookmarks Toolbar > Show only on New Tab to display Bookmarks only on New Tab;

Add History / Downloads to Bookmarks Panel for quick access;

Add 🥎 Emojis to folder names instead of useless folder icons for better visual identification.

Search suggestions in URL bar are disabled intentionally for several reasons:

In some of my UX research, I found interesting results indicating that disabling search suggestions in the URL bar can reduce cognitive load and help maintain focus.

Productivity boost by lowering distractions and cognitive load

Disabling search suggestions cultivates a sense of control, reducing distractions and improving satisfaction. Users can concentrate on their tasks, boosting efficiency and search accuracy. This minimalist approach is especially helpful for users who find constant suggestions overwhelming, thereby enhancing the overall UX.

Search suggestions are still available on search engine webpage.
Sometimes, search engine provides grammatically wrong suggestions (check google community forums for more info)

Data privacy

Suggestions are often based on the user's browsing history, frequently visited websites, and search patterns. Consequently, this personal data can be vulnerable, leading to privacy violations or badly targeted advertising. Users may also feel uncomfortable with the notion that their search behavior is being tracked and used for commercial or other purposes without their explicit consent.

Echo chambers

The reliance on personalized suggestions may result in the formation of echo chambers, limiting users' exposure to diverse perspectives and information. This can potentially reinforce existing biases and restrict the exploration of alternative viewpoints.

In other words, the user gains significantly improved search results by correctly formulating the search query themselves, rather than relying on suggestions.

 

Install

1. Type about:support in URL Bar > open Firefox profile folder and put chrome folder:

   / Firefox / Profiles / ###.default-release / chrome

2. Type about:config in URL Bar and set:

   toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets > true to enable css themes;

   browser.urlbar.maxRichResults > 0 to hide search suggestions pop-up;

   browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll > true for url selection in single click (optional);

3. Restart Firefox and Enjoy

Broken CSS Theme

The menubar is empty

The menubar is empty until I force it on and restart the browser

Can't click on addons

When clicking on the addons that are displayed at the right side of the tab bar, a new tab opens instead of the menu of the addon.
Some addons allow you to click on them to enable or disable them or change some options, for example Dark Reader let's you change the theme of a page.

(I would also like window buttons to minimize, maximize or close the window, but right now I can do that with keyboard shortcuts)

I really prefer having search suggestions enabled, and though the theme is great (thanks! its really nice), I went through a good time searching how could I style them somewhat decently. I finally ended up with this:

So I thought that it could be really nice to add this to the readme so others have the chance to choose :)

It just opens the url textbox and selects the text inside it.

dude, i miss this theme so badly

Since the update a few months ago the theme is broken and no one fix that, i try a lot fix even with AI and found out a issue with
-moz-user-focus: ignore; are not work anymore, if anyone want to try fix that, and call me, i'll lovely help

Can not switch tabs

When I try to switch tabs I need to click at least 10 times before it actually works, it starts editing the current URL when I press any tab.

Expose urlbar "shield" icon, to access ETP menu

The shield provides quick access to toggling Enhanced Tracking Protection on a given website.

I searched around and there seems to be no other way to invoke this menu, best as I can tell.

Unable to drag and move tabs

It isn't possible to move tabs using the mouse. Whenever I click on a tab and try to drag it, it just opens the URL/Search bar.
Do I need some plugin to move tabs?

newtab bookmarks toolbar causes hidden items to bleed through

This only happens when the bookmarks toolbar is set to only appear on new tabs.

Button for extension does not work

I absolutely love this theme but it bugs me to death that I cannot use my password manager extension with it:

When I try to press the extension button nothing happens :(
I need to be able to press it. Would it be possible to add support for a single extension icon like this?

Bookmark Toolbar items missaligned relative to tabs

Hi there, thank you very much for this excellent theme! Works really great.
The only issue I have, is a cosmetic one:

The bookmarks toolbar items are not in line with all other elements. Can someone give me a hint as where I can adjust values to bring them down by some pixels?

i dont have chrome folder

i dont have chrome folder can anyone help

Cannot pin/unpin extensions anymore.

I tried unpinning some of my extensions from the top right but i cant right click them or even click on them

Search bar are visible on new tab

The search bar is visible behind the buttons. This happens only on new tabs. On web pages everything looks as it should.

Tab cannot be closed by middle click

When you press the middle mouse button on the active tab, the address bar opens

Theme is completely broken.

Every UI element is overlapping on one another, and the theme is completely unusable. Any plans to make it work with the latest FF version?
