We already provide an ansible role to install coturn (https://github.com/systemli/ansible-role-coturn). Maybe we should add a note in the readme and/or add a document how you can install Jitsi Meet with an selfhosted coturn server on the same instance.

Would you like to help us improve the readme or add an documentation for this. Otherwise I would add this to my long TODO list and add these later.

Another solution could be the include of our coturn role as an optional dependency / meta object, when jitsi_meet_setup_custom_coturn_server is set to True

I also like the solution proposed in #4 to disable p2p alltogether, though 😅 It goes a bit against the goal of decentralization, but it makes the server-side configuration easier, and, for most parts, I see Jitsi Meet being used for groups of people, rather than 1on1 conversations that are handled very well by other applications as well 🤷

i'm wondering what the advantage of a turn-server would be over the videobridge. eventually all traffic is relayed through the server.
