im new in ubuntu and i dont know how install this server , ¿is there some .deb version for install this server?

Is it possible to add a slider in the options of the app... that can set the distance of the virtual screen?

This app would be handy to have available through F-droid.
Does it conform with the requirements?

The author stopped updating this app a couple of years ago. Too bad, as since then google daydream viewer has come along. This cardboard app mostly works in daydream except for a few problems: purchased version fails to load correctly on my android running nougat; free version does load ok. Cannot reposition by clicking off-screen. Does not recognize daydream viewer controller.

I think it can be useful, maybe not only terminal, maybe integrate video player and etc

Summary:
When using an external bluetooth keyboard some meta-characters (e.g , or ) are not properly passed to the VNC server. This is a know issue for android-vnc-viewer: see https://code.google.com/archive/p/android-vnc-viewer/issues/238

I'm using an Ubuntu 14.04 with real vnc server and USB theter connection with a Nexus 6p android phone but video streaming performance is really poor.

I want to know if is there a way to get a better performance.

It would be very helpful if this app included a floating virtual keyboard. A 4th icon could be added that would display/hide the keyboard. The click functionality could come from the cardboard physical click button.

Pressing on an external bluetooth keyboard opens the "Set up your Viewer" dialog of the Carboard app and the event does not get passed to the VNC server.
