denver.lua's Issues

There is no audible difference between a frequency of 440 and 441

First of all, thank you for writing denver! I've found it to be incredibly useful.

denver.get({frequency = 440}) and denver.get({frequency = 441}) seem to produce the same sound. I do hear a difference at denver.get({frequency = 442}) though, but then it sounds the same until a frequency of 446.

There is a good chance that my ears are not sensitive enough to hear a difference, but I ran it by some others and they also hear the changes at the frequencies I've mentioned.

I'm hearing the same sort of thing happen regardless of the waveform (I haven't tested with noise waveforms). One weird thing is that the triangle waveform changes tone from 440 to 441 but the pitch still seems to be the same.

It's not a huge deal but I figured I should at least report it.

Thank you!
