Word-Doc-Video-Embed-EXE-POC

  • Create your video embedded word document and save to poc.docx.
  • Copy poc.docx to poc.docx.zip
  • Open poc.docx.zip and copy out word\document.xml to another location
  • Open document.xml with a text editor such as VSCode.
  • Replace the base64 encoded blob in poc.html with your desired payload.
  • Encode ALL characters https://mothereff.in/html-entities
  • Copy encoding to document.xml and paste immediately before <iframe
  • Save document.xml and copy back into word\document.xml
  • Rename poc.docx.zip to weaponized.docx
  • Done!!
