CowBulls Activity

Sugar Activity of the classic "CowBulls" game, with a slight twist ;)

About:

• This is a sugar activity
• After each round, your score increases by the number of lives remaining + 1

Legend:

• Bull : corresponding digit is at its correct place.
• Cow : corresponding digit is in the number but not at its correct place
• Cross: corresponding digit is not present in th actual number

Known Bugs:

• Numpad keys 3, 5 and 0 aren't detected.
  Log: Key KP_Next unrecognised

Credits:

• Icons borrowed from multiple authors via FlatIcon

Feature: Missing sugar pointer

Activity should use sugar pointer instead of the normal pointer.

Mouse Movement is bit slow

I observed a lag while moving the cursor around.

Similar issue was observed in Jumble-activity

v2 git tag missing

CowBulls-2 has arrived on activities.sugarlabs.org but there is no v2 git tag here; perhaps commits are yet to be pushed?

Numpad keys 3 and 5 aren't detected.

Steps to reproduce:

• Open the activity
• Enter 3 using the numpad(NumLock on)

Expected Result:

• 3 should come up in the input side

Observer Result:
No change

Bug: Keyboard strokes not detected by pygame event loop

Steps to reproduce:

• Open the activity
• Type any number

Observed Result
No change

Expected Result:
Pressing a number should have the same effect as clicking the button of that number

Notes:

• Logs confirmed that the keystrokes are not even detected by the pygame event loop
• Logs didn't show any other errors
• The game was accepting keystrokes before its port to a sugar activity

Feature: Set color scheme according to user's color

The color scheme of the game(activity) should have some resemblence to the sugar user's color.

Possible areas:

• entries.png can be replaced with a line of user's color
• highlight.png can also be changed to first color
• Background can be the second color of the user.

Share activity between two users

Two users can share the activity in any of the following manner:

• Both can work on the same riddle
• User A gives a number; User B has to determine the number

Create an icon for activity and toolbar

Issues:

• Currently, the icon that is being used if of the moon activity. An activity icon needs to be designed
• The restart icon should be more apparent about its functionality

Activity class name has typo

NEWS has no v2 entry

Black Screen when play button is pressed

There is a small wait (black screen) when the play button is pressed on the toolbar.
