Custom FPL

Once there were a group of friends who loved to play the Fantasy Premier League. So they made Excel sheets and tables each week with the new data and they discussed the transfers to be made via chat groups.

But they were developers. They were engineers. They were lazy. There had to be better way, surely!

And so, this is an attempt to take those painstakingly boring tasks (which were so unfun they defeated the purpose of the game) out of the game.

This is an attempt to truly make it a game.

myfpl-node's Issues

Change to nginx

Currently, the server is Express itself running on port 80. We need to shift to using nginx as a reverse proxy server.

Use mongodb as database

Currently ES is being used as the database itself. But that is not ideal for our use case. Hence we should move to mongodb. No need to replace ES.

Player type change

Use actual player type (F, M D, G) instead of numbers in "player type" column in UI

Marker to indicate whose turn it is for transfer
