PHP and JavaScript dev. I do some C++ occasionally as well, but I'm not good at it.
I am currently learning C#.

Change the clearing method

as mentioned in the client README; the current method is inefficient & buggy

move to web login

• create temporary id
• login with {auth, [ip, username, generic_token, temporary_id]}
• create temporary link that has token on it, confirm your temporary id and then show a temporary token
• enter temporary token on the client
• if it matches, continue to server

Join/Leave messages and some other messages are not showing until historyLog() is triggered.

the owner of a server should be able to edit an object called bot_authorization which can add bot details username, bot_token.
more info soon because im out of ideas

match up send/receive message to `msg` or `message`

currently sending is ['msg', {...}] and receiving is ['message', {...}]
if possible, these should be matched up

either use or deprecate `ip` on both server types

either:

1. utilise the ip for IP-banning to servers
2. remove/deprecate ip logging on the client & the servers (most likely remove)

(unconfirmed) move to python for NORMAL servers

python is significantly simpler in terms of syntax however i dont have enough experience for me to be confident to use it on Secure Server(s).

i think we/i should move normal servers to python in favour of JS due to how simple it is, and due to the fact i need more experience with python for school

possible issues:

1. the server code would be significantly harder to compare, due to them being different languages.
2. this could effect the API significantly if the switch is done incorrectly.
3. we would have to find an equivalent of express for hosting the web client
