What is Hacktoberfest?

Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source software run by DigitalOcean in partnership with GitHub and Twilio. Hacktoberfest is open to everyone in the global community! A month-long celebration from October 1st - 31st sponsored by Digital Ocean and GitHub to get people involved in Open Source. Create your very first pull request to any public repository on GitHub and contribute to the open source developer community.

How Can I Contribute?

Its very simple.
You don't need to be an expert coder or developer or anything.
If you're a beginner thats completely fine.
Follow the steps given below.
You need to create your Pull Request to maybe this or any open source repository.

Steps :-

Fork this repository by clicking the Fork button in the top right of this page .
Go to contributors.md and add your details.
Write your details in countributors.md (make your short profile as the following example):

### YOUR FULL NAME
- Photo: YOUR PHOTO URL(You can submit any Image from Internet)
- Location: COUNTRY
- Github: YOUR GITHUB URL

Example:

### Garima sharma 
- Photo: https://your_image_url
- Location: India
- Github: https://github.com/Garima-sharma814
***

Keep the size of the image as 200/200

Now Commit your changes by pressing the Commit Changes button in green colour at the bottom.
Create a new pull request from your forked repository (Button located at the top of your repo)
Star this repository!

Choose one these tasks or all.

Add your details to `contributors.md`

Details are given above

Create a `Hello World` script

Script is to be added in the My_Scripts folder by your name.
Go to Add a file and add your script.
Script can be in any of your favourite language.
Or the language you prefer the most.

Name of the script should be as

Hello_world_YourName.xx eg Hello_world_Garima.py or Hello_world_Garima.cpp

Alternative method

Clone this repository.
Directly copy this command and paste in Git Bash.

git clone [email protected]:Garima-sharma814/Hacktober-Fest-2020.git

Commit your changes.
And push.

git push origin master

And if you successfully participated and contributed to open source repositories.

You gonna win T-Shirts and many more (Mine is on the way).
