A implementation of the board game in Java.

Quoridor

This application was written as part of a university group project. The aim of the project was to provide a client with a software implementation of the strategy board game Quoridor. The aim was accomplished using Java 8 (JavaFX and FXML). A executable version of the game can be found here.

Include a position check for coordinates larger than board size

Help video not loading in executable version

The video does not load in the executable version due to the class path not being set properly.

Add player pop-up doesn't show up

The add player dialog does not show when the add player button is pressed in the setup screen.

Settings not updating when saved

The settings shown on the Settings screen do not update according to the settings that have been saved.

NullPointer exception when checking a player owns a wall

A NullPointer exception is thrown when a check is done whether the wall a player is removing is owned by the player.

Add information box to main game screen

An information box is required to show information about the game status and to show messages to the player whose current turn it is.

NullPointer exception when getting a player by ID

A NullPointer exception is thrown by the getPlayer method in the GameSession class.

The setup table should show different placeholder text

The setup table currently shows "no content in table", it would be more appropriate to show a message like "No players yet".

Error checking for Position class

The Position class needs to have range checking for coordinates with correct exception throwing.

Images not showing in executable version

Images are not loaded properly in the executable version of the game.
