Drugs are complicated. The term itself is difficult to define, and laws differ from region to region and country to country. Moreover, drugs like peyote have profound cultural importance to certain groups even as governments consider them illegal.

When deciding what drugs and drug-related terms to add to our blacklist, we've followed these guidelines:

1. We've blacklisted drugs that are both synthetic and illegal under most circumstances (eg., MDMA).
2. We've blacklisted pharmaceuticals that are commonly abused (eg., Vicodin).
3. We've blacklisted all drugs on the DEA's drug schedule list save the ones covered by the fourth and fifth guidelines (eg., Heroin).
4. We haven't blacklisted "natural" drugs like psilocybin mushrooms or marijuana, drugs that are fully legal (and becoming increasingly legal) in many mainstream societies.
5. We haven't blacklisted drug-related terms if the item can be purchased at a licensed business establishment in the United States (eg., bong).

We might say cannabis dispensaries and related shops have been (or are in the process of becoming) fully accepted members of the mainstream business community. If you operate one of these kinds of shops in a location where it's legal to do so, we think you should be able to use Listifer to find new customers.
