Building

# git clone http://github.com/strippato/gnome-arcade
# cd gnome-arcade
# mkdir build
# cd build
# cmake ..
# make

Building dependencies

GTK+ >= 3.20
gdk 3.0
gdk-pixbuf-2.0
libevdev-1.4.5
xdg-utils (for screen saver support; you may need perl and some perl-Net-DBus-GLib helper)
vlc-devel-3.0.0
libarchive-devel-3.4

Run

# cd gnome-arcade
# ./gnome-arcade

Download prebuilt binaries

Can't use the copr repo on Fedora 40. Please add Fedora 40 releases

217 mame nonchd romset does not work

Seems like it was removed :/

How to compile?

I can make rpm for openSUSE and other distro for your project, but I don't know how to compile it.
An "howto" would be greatly appreciated.

CHDs download does not work

First, thanks a LOT for this project, it's really wonderful, it's the best and easiest front end that exists.

It seems the ZIP that contains all the CHDs does not exists anymore :

Not sure how to fix that. I have changed the code to directly download from the folders, but seems like download is forbidden.

Can't fetch tiles: stream error [mslug]: Operation not supported ✗

I've packaged gnome-arcade for Guix. Everything seems to be working well except the fetching of the tiles.

I'm using this provider:

TILE_PROVIDER=http://adb.arcadeitalia.net/media/mame.current/titles/%s.png

First rpm version

I need more information for where to install all the configuration and data directories.
You can find in the OBS project a patch for your buggy .desktop file.
