Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently the oidc state is not stored on the client due to limitations with cookies in iframes, the following LTI spec proposal seeks to solve this problem.

Follow the proposed spec when its ready to implement support for this new flow.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Considered not supporting browsers (currently only Safari) however that is not fair to the end users and other browsers may follow this pattern in the future.

It would be better if returned errors had an associated custom error type to match against.

Describe the solution you'd like
Custom error types for all possible errors exposed by the library, including not found error types for the data store.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Keeping string based errors that are fragile for error matching.
