compass-inuit's Issues

no executable compass-inuit after installing gem on ubuntu

Hello!

Thanks for your great framework.

Our installation on a recent Ubuntu doesn't do what your documentation says.
At the end of the gem installation process we don't find any compass-inuit script in /usr/local/bin (where the other compass scripts reside) nor do we find it in the gem package contents.

Do you have a clue where it got lost?

Grids

Hi Stephen

Have you managed to get grids working within inuit? I notice that Harry has moved to css wizardry grids (which is great), but I can't seem to get it to play ball.

In _defaults.scss I've set $responsive: true!default; and $use-grids: false!default; but no joy.

Any help much appreciated.

Jim

Publish 5.0 gem

Could you please publish 5.0 to rubygems.org? The most recent version up there is 4.5.5.1, and I'd really like to be able to install this gem in the typical way.

Many thanks for making this extension :)

_helper.scss included before _mixins.scss

It seems the include order of _generic.scss needs to be changed with version 4.3.6. _helper.scss is included before _mixins.scss and _helper uses the media-query mixin causing a syntax error.

Syntax error: Undefined mixin 'media-query'.

stylesheets directory empty

Hi I used to use Compass a few years ago and I'm just getting back to it and I'd like to use compass-inuit, so please pardon me if this is a completely novice question.

I am on OSX. In terminal, I ran the following commands...

$ sudo gem update --system
$ sudo gem install compass
$ sudo gem install compass-inuit
$ cd ~/Documents
$ compass create compass-inuit_project -r compass-inuit --using compass-inuit

I got the following error:
File compass-inuit_project/config.rb already exists. Run with --force to force overwrite.

So then I ran...

$ compass create compass-inuit_project -r compass-inuit --using compass-inuit --force

This gave me the "Congratulations! Your compass project has been created." message, but when I examine the contents of the project it only has...

config.rb
index.html
/sass

  • _vars.scss
  • style.scss
    styles.css
    /stylesheets
    watch.sh

(The stylesheets directory is completely empty.)

Again, I apologize if I'm missing something that any experienced compass user would know instinctively, but at this point I'm stuck.

Thanks.

Possible conflict with another partials folder

I have a project that changes the entire presentation layer if partials/base is added. So I cherry picked the other includes. Also the project itself has a partials folder. I was wondering if this poses a conflict to the project specific one and if so is it possible to rename the folder.

partials -> inuit

install compass-inuit

Hi,

Its not the framework thats the issue but wanted to double check that its not just me. I've installed compass-inuit, and the gem is listed in my installs.

However when I go to a file and run the compass install compass-inuit I get:

No such framework: "compass-inuit"

What do you think the issue could be?

Please update compass-inuit gem.

Can you please update the compass inuit gem, it does not have the helpers in the correct location in _style.scss but it is correct in master.
