Application

Project overview

• Tech-happy people, unite! This site allows for posting & commenting on all-things tech related.

Dependencies

• MySQL

• sequelize

• bcrypt

• express

Installation

• After cloning this repository, run 'npm install' for dependencies.

• Create a '.env' file with your MySQL port, username & password for 'techblogdb' database.

• Schema and seeds files are available and should be executed prior to application use.

• To run the application, enter 'node index.js' inside terminal.

Notes

• Overall I'm pleased with the outcome of this blog and functionality re credentials and posts. Future development includes allowing a user to edit posts they've authored.
