Tutorial for using Docker in a single host environment

This tutorial gives an overview of running existing docker containers, building docker images and compose docker environments with multiple connected containers.

Requirements

• host with installed docker engine (Community Edition [CE])
• docker and docker-compose CLI software
• shell (e.g. powershell, bash)

Additional requirements under windows:

• Windows 10
• VT-x (information maybe outdated)
