That's a bug then. The asyncExecutor bean should explicitly declare itself to be a TaskExecutor. I expect it works when you do that?

Actually, it works for me (the concrete type is TaskExecutor). What makes you think it isn't working?

sorry for that, my environment has defined more than one TaskExecutor, so it turn to use org.springframework.core.task.SimpleAsyncTaskExecutor, it's a usage problem rather a bug.
