splendaq's Issues

Change it so we don't have to switch HEMTs to set Q1 and Q2 voltages

from Arran:

for the HPS (Harvard) power supply, can we have dedicated commands for set Q2 gate/vdd and Q1 gate/vdd rather than having to switch HEMTs? I sometimes (ok, often...) forget to switch slots in our notebooks and change the bias for the wrong HEMT

problem with max_duration_per_file parameter

When logging data, using the 'max_duration_per_file' parameter to chunk up longer data seems to take a very long time. When running the following line of code, it takes 498 seconds to run.

fs = 1e4
with LogData(ip_address=moku_ip, fs=fs, max_duration_per_file=30) as LOG:
    LOG.set_input_channels(channels=[1], 
                           impedance='1MOhm', 
                           coupling='AC', 
                           vrange='400mVpp')
    LOG.log_data(120, savepath='./', file_name_prefix=f"test")

However, running it manually in a loop like this

fs = 1e4
with LogData(ip_address=moku_ip, fs=fs, max_duration_per_file=30) as LOG:
    for ii in range(4):
        LOG.set_input_channels(channels=[1], 
                               impedance='1MOhm', 
                               coupling='AC', 
                               vrange='400mVpp')
        LOG.log_data(30, savepath='./', file_name_prefix=f"test")

Takes only 144 seconds to run.
