method getAttributeByName was renamed to getAttribute

It is common for clients to be able to map a group supplied in the saml response to multiple roles. For example an AD group company.ADMIN may map to the role admin and the role user.

Any plans in the near or distant future to port this to Grails 3?

Do you have a demo/sample app using the grails spring-security-saml plugin? Or do you know of any?

I'm having trouble setting it up.

The Issue link in the plugin portal is a dead link currently. Where did you want that to go here or jira?

The login on the SamlTagLib does not work it generates an invalid url using the config.

Documentation is required on how to configure/use the plugin.

saml2-core dependency has an official RELEASE version... the plugin is currently based on RC1-SNAPSHOT version
