This is my website, held together by tears, glue and a healthy dose of eh, good enough.

Built with my own static site generator written in Node using my own hacky templating engine, SASS and whatever rope I could use to hold it together.

Do sitemap.css in SASS

Add tests for new content functionality

Convert tests that depend on `new Site` to use `TestSite`

Mostly because the actual deploy step is slower than it needs to be, even though it takes ~1 minute to run. Doing it all in the pipeline saves me downloading, installing and building it on CI and then on the server...

Structure

Though I initially though about doing a bunch of subdomains because I like it that way some research has told me that it's better to have everything under one domain, mostly due to SEO concerns. How correct and true this is is probably up to interpretation, but in any case:

• eons.io -> eons.io (portfolio, landing page)
• eons.io/about/ (about me, obviously)
• blog.eons.io -> eons.io/blog/(blog posts about stuff)
  • blog.eons.io -> eons.io/articles/ (long form posts, more serious)
• notes.eons.io -> eons.io/notes/(quick and small notes)
• eons.io/projects/ (explanations for projects I've done)
