CRUD Functionality

Taskaty has CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functionality, to manage the tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• Task List: User can view all due tasks. (All tasks are persisted to local storage using Shared Preferences and GSON)
• Create New Tasks: Users can add new tasks to the list.
• Edit Tasks: Users can edit any task. Including marking it as done.
• User Interface: Taskaty Mobile App UI on My behance

Additional Features:

• Search Functionality: Users can search for tasks using keywords, filter tasks by month, or categorize them.
• Remove Tasks: Users can remove existing tasks.
• Sample Tasks for first time users. (Using shared prefrences)
• Date Picker for due date of the rask.

taskaty's Issues

Gregorian Date Problem

• When I use the get method to get the Gregorian date (Year, month, day of month) it gives me conflicting results on Updating the task. But it's not related to the Date picker, I think it's how I set the values to the Gregorian Calendar.
• I decided to use Gregorian because Date is deprecated, I might consider using Calendar.

Add Search Button

• User shall be able to search for a task using it's name

Add (Task Deleteing) Functionality

In this branch, I will be working on adding a button that performs deletion on the tasks.

• The user shall be able to delete a task they added.
