Setup

1. Clone down repo
2. npm install from root directory
3. npm start and visit localhost:3000 in your browser

Test Driven Development

Movie Tracker uses Jest and Enzyme for all testing purposes

npm test from the associated root directory

Next Steps

Additional enhancments could include :

• Carousel effects for mobile and tablet versions
• Focus effects for movie selection
• Hide details for each movie until the card is clicked
• Let user choose what movies to show based on date released, director, genre, etc.

A user stays signed in after refreshing the page. Hint: You will probably use localStorage.

If the user is not signed in and clicks on a favorite button the user will be prompted with the request to create an account.

Pull most recent movies from MovieDB API.

Friday-Night-Tasks

• Action creators and reducers should be camelCase not PascalCase
• The movie reducer test needs to be fleshed out more.
• the helper function files should be camelCase not PascalCase
• mocks need to be moved to util
• We need to add a snapshot test to App
• remove the unnecessary app css
• We need to clean up the card container test

If the user visits /favorites they should see a list of all their favorite movies.

Validate favorites before adding to db. Aka does that user already have the movie stored as favorites. There should be no duplicates.

A user can click and view any individual movie.

Each movie should be displayed with a favorite button.
