Movie Finder

Movie Finder is an app that consumes data from The Movie DB, organizes and presents that data to users, and shows users detailed information about the movies that interest them.

How to get this project up and running on your machine:

1. Sign up for an account and API key at https://www.themoviedb.org
2. cd ~
3. cd .gradle
4. If gradle.properties doesn't exist yet, touch gradle.properties
5. Open gradle.properties in a code editor
6. Add MovieFinder_ApiKey="${your_api_key}" to this file and save
7. git clone https://github.com/Jessica-Erickson/AndroidMovieFinder.git in the folder you want to save the project in
8. Open the repository in Android Studio
9. Run the project using the built-in emulator by clicking the green play icon in the top right menu of the IDE
