Homework Assignment #4

@diyah, @keenahn, & @LijieZhou

I tried fixing using the hidden div and the thank you form. Not sure if it actually works because I can't seem to get Formspree to work for me (I get a referrer error message when I try it). Also, I put in the popups for the thumbnails. I have a question though...in terms of sizing images, would you say that most developers resize images using Photoshop, GIMP, etc. before inserting them into webpages? I'm trying to find out whether people usually use CSS/HTML to actually resize images or whether it's considered more reliable to use other programs to do that?

Homework Assignment #3

So I cheated - I couldn't figure out the thank you form with the hidden div so I used an onSubmit alert in the form itself. Points for ingenuity?
I also was curious about exactly how to resize image files that you upload locally. If you're trying to get several images to be the same size, I'm assuming that the best practice would be to resize them all to the same size before you insert them into the html and try to resize using css?

Homework Assignment #2

@diyah, @keenahn, & @LijieZhou

I created a new repository because I realized that I had named my old own "profile" instead of "portfolio". Not a big deal, but I wanted to practice creating repositories anyway and I just copied my old index.html file over to this new repo. I haven't finished all of the homework yet because I got very distracted and spent way way too much time trying to figure out how to align elements properly on my web page. Is there a best way to do alignment because I feel like I'm doing it completely wrong. You'll see when you look at my .html and .css files. Also, I tried to incorporate some

into my .html but I still don't think I'm using it correctly.
