self-limiters's Issues

Initial release

The current logic seems to work fairly well, and the release process is working.

Before I'd consider this ready though, I'd like to check how much smaller calling redis from Python would make the built wheels. Currently we're building 700kb wheels, but that bundles the redis crate + openssl, without us really needing to.

It would also be nice to create some benchmarks.

So left for v0.1 is

  • Replace redis crate (and remove openssl)
  • Write benchmarks
  • Write some more tests
  • Run some more aggressive clippy settings and iron out the wrinkles wrt. integer types (we're doing a lot of conversions from f32 to u64 etc. that would be nice to minimize)

And then I think this should be usable ๐Ÿš€
