If I sort QSOs by band, mentally I expect 160m - 10m, 6,4,2,70... ie from LF to UHF. What I see is 15m, 2m, 30m, 40m, 6m, 70cm, 80m, ie alphanumeric.
No idea how hard this is to do - actually sort on hidden column?!
I know you mentioned FT4 was hidden under MFSK, but if I import from a QRZ ADIF, "mode:3FT4" is imported as AM :-(
FT8, FT4, APRS or Sat frequencies in an editable table. Anything that is like a band plan spot frequency.
Used when you set the mode in QSO to suggest a frequency in the field for you automatically. It can be overridden.
As above. Wanted to make screenshot but Github opened in the same tab.
As a user, I want to receive a list of errors in my import file such that I can identify which entry is at fault, why and identify how to correct the entry.
'fix' QSOs in wrong case... Add a button?
If I select 'show 50 entries', edit an entry and save it, I go back to only 10 entries - would be nice to come back to 50 :-)
Exported ADIF from QRZ.com contains <time_on:4>1206
Once imported it appears as 12:00:06
Sample file attached - the three FT4 QSOs were all similar, but the three FT8 calls with 11-something came in OK
Provide an overview at user and callsign level of key metrics, including but not limited to:
I can't find anything in the QSO edit screen or Logbook list that seems to support this.
As a user
I want to see Submode everywhere where the Mode is displayed
So that I know the more specific mode used
Example:
SSB => SSB - LSB
MFSK => MFSK - JS8
DIGITALVOICE => DIGITALVOICE - DMR
The More and WAOARC menus don’t drop down with Safari on iPad; other menus are ok
As a FT8 user I would like the ability to auto log from WSJT-X(R) software
Not everyone understand the "Query" terminology, but we are conditioned to look for the text "SAVE".
As a user, I want to be able to view the QSOs that I've submitted such that I can validate that they have been correctly imported and read.
Styling issue, do we have friendly names or strict names?
Also, when a new QSO is added, the QSO start time does not seem to default to "now".
When pressing add qso but not adding to qso list with callsign
I want to set up a contest / event with multiple people (users on the logger) and have them all contribute to a shared event so that I can visualise all the QSOs like for WAOARC.
Or... parametric WAOARC...
Not linking upload to callsign.
Add pictures to rigs and antennas tables so other qso's can see them when they are combinded
I guess the "squares worked" map shows you which squares haven't been activated at all but it might be fun to have a similar "squares activated" map? I think the result would be different - say I activate IO80 for the first time and 30 people work me, it'll look very different on the two maps.
Cheers
Martin
If you open the QSO list, eg https://waoarc.oarc.uk/callsigns/G6FJI/qsos it defaults to sorting by Date from oldest to newest, but within a day, Time is sorted newest to oldest. If you sort on time, then again on date, it displays oldest to newest by date and time :-)
If your event is current selected you can't go to the log for that event. When you click link you get 202 error.
Suggest that "No Event" or "None" as a valid event choice would be helpful instead of the non-intuitive deletion of all events if you just want to look at the raw log.
