At present, the follow_route.py treats a route as an endless loop. It "sails" the vessel around the loop in a never-end fashion.

Real voyages are not like this, they start and they end.

It would be good to if the program could be told to end the voyage simulation at the end of the route -- perhaps with a --no_loop command line argument.

At present, the follow_route.py code outputs AIS sentences representing "other" vessels moving in the area. In some circumstances we want to simulate the movement of "our" vessel. This could be achieved by providing the option of outputting GPS NMEA sentences instead of the AIS messages -- such as GGA, GLL and VTG
