It was noticed in [1] that a special treatment of variables that must be 0 within tolerance should be considered.

The original script was using CPU time per event, which was removed ages ago.
Instead of reporting 0, which is just wrong

• either drop the printout
• or print "CPU time per individual event is not available in the log"
• or parse the available per-loop-based CPU time per event printed at the end of the log

It was noticed here cms-sw/cmssw#31240 (comment) that the X axis label can get messed up in case of very small values.

this is mostly to clean up the logs
